Changes
  • Set clock to UTC, see /etc/adjtime, /etc/localtime, /etc/sysconfig/clock
  • Created a simple xinetd vnc service /etc/xinetd.d/vnc, disabled by default
  • Created /etc/gdm/custom.conf that disallows remote root logins through gdm
